Social Security, Medicare, Schools, Public Safety, Environment Protection How do you feel after watching that video? I feel like designers should think about others more often. As a designer, what could be done to make experiences better for Sinéad? You could maybe take into account how everyone would feel. This would be including everyone so that the design could be able to support anyone. When you think about how it is to experience life the way she does, what is that called? Putting yourself in someone elses shoes? The Godfather of UX List 3 professional fields that are associated with UX design (there are more than just three) Who coined the now-ubiquitous term User Experience? What did he study at MIT? Electrical Engineering and Mathematical Psychology What is the name of his book, and the unofficial UX Bible? "Dumbing Down" of user behavior. What man said: “You’ve got to start with the customer experience and work back toward the technology—not the other way around.” and why would that be important? Steve Jobs said that quote. This is important because if you just have really cool technology but the user experience is complete garbage then, the customers would not be interested as their experience would be bad. The first menu is very clear and the colors of the buttons are very recognizable so you always know what you're clicking. The hierarchy is pretty well crafted aswell. The play button is the biggest and brightest and thats the button you click on the most. App 2: Messages The messages app on the iPhone is also very well crafted. When you first open it, you can see all of the most of your recent messages and see who sent them so it is really easy to talk to who you want. When you go to send a message the send button is way brighter and stands out so its easy to send messages. Plus they put the messages the other person set on the left in a different color. The messages you send are on the right and are in a different color. This makes it easy to figure out who sent what.
1.) It was easy because the colors were basic allowing us to match them quickly to a similar or same color.
